Volunteering with
Our Space

Would you like to support our young people at sessions? Would you like to learn new skills? Would you like to meet new people and have fun whilst also gaining valuable experience for your CV? We have several volunteer roles for you to consider.

Some volunteers support on a weekly basis at our evening club sessions whilst others come along to volunteer at our holiday playscheme sessions in the school holidays.

We also have opportunities for people to volunteer in our grounds, assisting with gardening and general maintenance tasks. This can be both on an individual basis or perhaps as a volunteer work party from your workplace.

Want to volunteer with us? Simply fill in the form and we will be in touch.

What our Volunteers say……

I had great fun volunteering at Our Space last summer! I really grew in confidence and the experience will also look good on my CV.

Volunteering at Our Space has cemented my view that I want to work with children with special needs in the future.

It was good to make friends with the other volunteers when we volunteered at the summer playscheme.

Please consider making a donation. Your gift will help to ensure that disabled children can access a safe and welcoming space to play.

As a charity we receive no government funding and we rely on the kind support of our community to keep our charity open for the hundreds of families that visit us each year. Without this support, many parents have told us that they would struggle to find a safe, secure and understanding place for their child to play.

Sessions provided through Stoke Aiming High.

We are delighted to be a provider for the new Stoke-on-Trent Aiming High Short Breaks programme. We have a range of sessions available to book, for children and young people aged 0-17 years with SEND. You can view the activities we are providing and make bookings by clicking on this link:
