Ann McCabe Solicitors Abseil for Our Space

Ann McCabe Solicitors have been fantastic supporters of Our Space for the last 10 years and we are delighted that a team of their staff are joining us for our sponsored abseil from Millers Dale Bridge in Derbyshire!

Sammi, Adele, Zuleika, Jemma, Chloe, Daniel and Nino are all braving the drop and they have each said a few words about why they are doing so:

Sammi – “It’s a charity that is close to my heart and I feel that they need support to continue to offer the invaluable facilities that they do for children and adults with additional needs. Events like this are a brilliant way to experience new things whilst raising necessary funds for a good cause. Our Space heavily rely upon charitable donations and every penny counts.”

Adele – “Stepping over the edge and taking on this abseil will certainly push me out of my comfort zone, but it is nothing compared to the challenges faced by the people Our Space supports every day. By participating in this event, I hope to make a positive contribution and help ensure that the charity can continue its invaluable work.”

Zuleika – “Our Space is an amazing charity that facilitates safe play and support for children and adults with additional needs and also their families. It is essential to a lot of people who would otherwise struggle without. Any donations are massively appreciated as it costs over £140,000 a year for Our Space to maintain their services.”

Jemma – “This charity is close to all our hearts and raising funds for it makes us extremely proud to be a part of it. None of the team have done anything like this before so it is exciting to be doing this with friends. I’ve jumped out of a plane and climbed Snowdon so feel like this is the next experience!”

Chloe – “It’s an amazing charity that deserves more recognition and support. The facilities and space it provides to children and adults with additional needs is unlike anything else. It provides families with a safe space.”

Daniel – “I’ve not abseiled before. It will be great to do it with friends and for a worthwhile cause that helps a lot of people.”

Nino – “Our Space supports vulnerable people who need it most. It is important to raise money for charities such as this to provide the necessary support that families and individuals need.”

We are extremely grateful to Ann McCabe Solicitors for taking on this challenge and for their ongoing support of Our Space. If you would like to sponsor the team, head over to their JustGiving page.

We still have some spaces left for anyone who would like to join us for this fundraising event – please get in touch ([email protected]) for further information and a registration form.
