Our Space Pre-launch Party (press release)

NEWS RELEASE

FOR USE WEEK COMMENCING MONDAY 3RD JULY 2017

Our Space pre-launch party

Members of Newcastle-based charity, Our Space (Staffs) Ltd, are looking forward to partying in familiar surroundings.

Our Space was formed in February 2016 following the closure of the North Staffs Special Adventure Playground in December of the previous year.

The charity provides play, social and recreational opportunities for disabled children, young people and adults and their families, and are thrilled to be back in the NSSAP’s former premises on Stanier Street, Newcastle, which have now been renamed The Brook Centre.

Trustee, Mike Rogalski, said: “The last session at the NSSAP was our Christmas Party. This was obviously tinged with sadness, so it will be lovely to hold another party as we look forward to new beginnings.”

Fellow Trustee, Hannah Dean added: “It’s great to be back in a building which has such a sense of familiarity to our members and their families.

“It has taken a lot of hard work to get the premises ready for opening and this would not have been possible without tremendous support from local tradespeople and volunteers.”
